July 15 : Family Night at the Park (free admission. Summer movies and summer fun under the stars! The summer outdoor movie series "Family Night at the Park" is kicking off at Chuck Camp Park. Load up your family and friends, grab a blanket or lawn chair and head out to the giant movie screen at Chuck Camp Park (behind Publix on South Cobb Drive and Benson Poole Road). Kids play area and concessions open at 7:00 p.m. and the movie begins at dark. All movies are full length feature films suitable for kids and grown-ups of all ages. The man who created the prototype in Atlanta for New York's hottest fashion store is bringing the New York fashion show sensibility home. Jeffrey Kalinskys' Fashion Cares will take place Under the Tents at Phipps Plaza. The premier fashion event, Monday, August 28, kicks off the fall social season and chairs Carey Carter and Lila Hertz are confident that it will be more fabulous than ever. This year's event marks a major renovation of the fashion retailer, since Kalinsky sold to Nordstrom. Once encompassing all three names: Jeffrey, Jil Sander and Bob Ellis, the new 11,000 square-foot store will be just Jeffrey. The reception starts at 7:30 p.m. and the live auction and fashion show commence at 9:00 p.m.
